# Micro

> Micro is the management layer for Litmos LMS. It is not an LMS and does not replace Litmos: learners, courses and content stay in Litmos, and Micro gives Litmos administrators bulk changes with preview and undo, reporting and insights, must-do training monitoring, access reviews and an AI assistant (MCP) connection. Created by Rich Chetwynd, the original founder and creator of Litmos. Made by Lupchoo Ltd, New Zealand. Micro connects to a customer's existing Litmos site with an Account Owner API key, keeps an up-to-date copy of people, teams, courses and progress, and only sends changes back to Litmos when an administrator approves them. It is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Litmos.
