The problem
What it's like in Litmos today
- Answering “who's overdue?” usually means running a report per course, exporting it to Excel and stitching the results together.
- Completions that expire, like annual refreshers, are easy to miss until they've already lapsed.
- A single site-wide completion number hides which teams and people are actually behind.
- By the time the spreadsheet is finished, it's out of date.
How Micro solves it

-
1
Star the must-do courses
Click the star on a course and it's monitored from then on. There are no rules or reports to set up.
-
2
One number, then the detail
See the share of assignments that are up to date, how many people are behind, how many completions are overdue or expired, and what expires in the next 30 days.
-
3
By team and by person
A team × course grid shows where the gaps are, and a list of people is sorted by how much must-do training they have outstanding.
-
4
Teams falling behind, flagged
Insights compares teams with each other and flags the ones with low completion, a high overdue rate or lots of people who never logged in.
-
5
Act on it
Select the people who are behind and plan a change, such as assigning the course to anyone missing it, with a preview before anything reaches Litmos.

Questions
- How does Micro decide someone is overdue?
- From the due dates and overdue status in Litmos. An incomplete assignment counts as overdue when Litmos marks it overdue or its due date has passed.
- How are expiring and expired completions worked out?
- A completion counts as up to date until the compliance date Litmos records for it passes. After that it shows as expired, and it shows as expiring during the 30 days before.
- Do I need to set up rules or policies?
- No. Starring a course is the whole setup. Unstar it and Micro stops monitoring it.
- How up to date are the numbers?
- Micro syncs with Litmos every hour, and you can start a sync yourself at any time.
- Does this replace compliance settings in Litmos?
- No. Due dates, compliance periods and certificates are still set in Litmos. Micro reports on them across every starred course at once.
